A fine example of creative expression in practice, Steven Belkin is chairman and founder of the Trans National Group (TNG) in Boston, a privately held corporation he started in 1974 with a credit card and small investments from close friends. Today, TNG has grown, to $175 million in annual sales and more than 300 employees. In 2003, Steve realized a dream to become a principal owner of the NBA Atlanta Hawks and the NHL Atlanta Thrashers. Steve’s wide-reaching community commitments include trusteeships at the New England Sports Museum and Temple Beth Elohim, and leadership roles with the Anti-Defamation League, the Combined Jewish Philanthropies of Greater Boston, and the Group Clinic for Children at Boston City Hospital. He and his wife, Joan, have served on numerous charitable boards. Both are members of the Hoffman Institute Board of Directors.

Spirituality in Business
An interview with author Ken Blanchard, Ph.D.
Chairman of Blanchard Training and Development, Inc., an international training company, Ken is the author or co-author of twelve books related to creative expression, including the One Minute Manager series. He is a visiting lecturer at Cornell University, where he serves as Trustee Emeritus. Dr. Blanchard is also a member of the Hoffman Advisory Council.

The Music of Beth Nielsen Chapman
Beth Nielsen Chapman is a renowned singer and songwriter. She has written songs in diverse styles for singers Bonnie Raitt, Emmylou Harris, Neil Diamond, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Bette Midler, and Trisha Yearwood, and wrote a hit song for Elton John and Faith Hill. During her childhood, she was exposed to a wide variety of cultural influences and musical styles. She loved the music of Gershwin, Cole Porter, Joni Mitchell, Carole King, the Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Motown sound, Jimmy Webb, Rodgers and Hammerstein, and Ella Fitzgerald. Those influences influenced her ability to create a diverse repertoire of music. She developed a pure, powerful songwriting style and a beautifully clear, expressive voice. Her recent album, Hymns, has been a huge success and she has a new album, Look, coming out in June. An interview with musicians Kenny and Julia Loggin
Internationally renowned recording artist Kenny Loggins and his wife Julia have collaborated on many projects, including their 1997 book The Unimaginable Life and its companion CD of music and poetry; creative expression in its purest form. In 1970, Kenny Loggins and Jim Messina teamed up to form the legendary duo Loggins & Messina. Six years later, Kenny became a world-renowned solo artist. Having sold more than 20 million records over his career, he is currently working on his next CD for Columbia Records. After remarkable results from her Process experience, Julia became a health consultant and counselor focusing on nutritional, emotional, and psychological healing. Julia also writes poetry and her journals, which she has been writing since her childhood, were the inspiration for the creation of The Unimaginable Life.
