The Hoffman Relationship Intensive

A private process on relationship for two people who are both Hoffman Process graduates

In addition to a couple in an intimate sexual relationship, relationship coaching is effective for business partners, co-workers, divorced or separated parents who are co-parenting, siblings, parent and child, or close friends whose relationship is challenged

In The Hoffman Relationship Intensive, graduates deepen their understanding of themselves and their partner and shift their relationship in just a few days.  In the Intensive you and your partner explore the dynamics of your relationship, identify patterns that separate each of you from yourself and from each other, and recognize the specifics of the transferences that keep you from experiencing the person you love more truly and deeply, and creating the level of intimacy and support you desire in your life. 

Working with a Hoffman Relationship Coach (of your choice) you will expand your understanding of each other and of yourself, will allow you to recognize patterns that undermine your relationship, and support you in exploring the forces that draw you together.  It is a powerful tool for clarifying your relationship.

A post-Intensive phone coaching session for each participant is included in the program fees. Many couples choose ongoing coaching for a period of time after the Intensive to facilitate the changes that are taking place.

If you and your partner are interested in participating in a Relationship Intensive, call a Hoffman Relationship Coach or the Institute to schedule.  These sessions are conducted in person at a time and place you select, which helps you give your total and uninterrupted attention. The program involves at least 12 hours and two days with the coach, and is often beneficial to extend to the following morning.  In preparation for the Relationship Coaching sessions, there is pre-work for you to do individually on your own time, which you will send to your coach prior to the sessions. 

The Hoffman Relationship Intensive

Time: The Hoffman Relationship Intensive requires at least a day and a half plus travel time.

Day 1: Each person has a 90-120 minute individual session with the Relationship Coach.  You and your partner will be given an assignment, which takes 1-2 hours to complete that afternoon and evening and involves bashing, dialoguing and recycling new patterns you have identified.

Day 2: Begins at 9:00 am with a 3-4 hour session. After a lunch break, there is an afternoon session, which is variable in length. It may end as early as 5:00 pm or extend to 6:00 pm or later depending on your needs as a couple.

Day 3 (optional): Begins at 9:00 am for a 2-3 hour session during which you will reflect and extend learning from the previous two days and look to the future.  This option is highly recommended for all couples who are facing serious challenges in their relationship.

Post-Intensive Coaching Sessions:  Two 45-minute sessions (one per participant) are included.  These will be scheduled at the end of the Intensive, generally to take place within one month after completion of the Intensive.

Location: The Hoffman Relationship Intensive occurs in person either at the location of the coach or at a location near your home. If the coach needs to travel, there is an additional fee of $500 per travel day, plus travel, meals and accommodation costs for the coach.

Tuition: The basic tuition for day 1 & 2 of the Relationship Intensive is $2950 per coach. If the sessions extend beyond a total of 12 hours on Day 1 & 2 and for Day 3, there is an additional charge of $225 per hour, per coach. These fees are payable by check or credit card at the time of the Relationship Intensive sessions.  A $500 non-refundable deposit/coach is due when you schedule.
