The Relationship Intensive

A 2-day, in-person graduate course (with an optional extra half-day) with a teacher; offered only to Hoffman Process graduates

The Hoffman Relationship Intensive is a two day, in-person graduate program and can include an optional extra half day. It is designed for any two Process graduates who want individual, one-on-one support to resolve conflict and come into authentic alignment around a shared vision toward the future. Working with a coach, you will use Hoffman tools to identify any conflicts and resentments, be heard about them, find compassion for yourself and the other, and cultivate skills, practices, and a vision for moving forward.

This program is suitable for a collegiate relationship; siblings; parent and adult child; or a couple moving into a committed relationship, striving to maintain and deepen an existing relationship, or looking to find a way to separate with love and dignity. You have the option of bringing the coach to your location, traveling to the coach, or meeting at an agreed-upon venue. Following the Intensive, you will each have a follow-up coaching call, with the option to arrange ongoing coaching together.

Fee includes

  • Individual pre-work to help you focus on your needs
  • In-person sessions over 2–3 days
  • 2 post-Intensive phone coaching sessions (1 per participant)

What to Expect

Your Relationship Intensive is designed as a focused experience with a total of 15 hours of dedicated support with your Hoffman Teacher.

Before the Intensive (90 minutes total)
We begin with a pre-intensive coaching session. This includes:

  • Clarifying your goals and intentions
  • Reviewing logistics and schedule
  • Aligning expectations for the experience
  • Initial coaching (as a couple or individually)

During the 2-Day Intensive (12 hours total)
This is the core of the experience, providing deep, structured support:

  • Day 1: 4 hours of guided work
  • Day 2: 7 hours of guided work
  • Includes: 1-hour paid lunch break

Sessions are tailored in real time to your needs, balancing practical tools, guided conversations, and in-the-moment coaching.

After the Intensive (90 minutes total)
We close with a post-intensive session to:

  • Integrate what you’ve learned
  • Reinforce key insights and tools
  • Support next steps moving forward
  • Provide continued coaching (together or individually)

Optional Add-Ons
For clients who want additional depth or time:

  • Extend Day 1 or Day 2 at an hourly add-on rate
  • Add a third day of intensive work at an hourly add-on rate
  • Continue with additional coaching sessions (billed separately at standard coaching rates)

Tuition: The basic tuition for days 1 & 2 of the Relationship Intensive is $4,200 USD. If the sessions extend beyond a total of 12 hours on days 1 & 2, there is an additional charge of $300 USD per hour. These fees are payable to the Hoffman Institute by check or credit card at the time of the Relationship Intensive sessions. A $500 USD non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is due when you schedule, and the balance of $3,700 USD is due 15 days prior to the start of the Relationship Intensive.

Note: Graduates are also responsible for paying any applicable teacher costs including flight, ground, lodging, meals at cost, and travel time.
