Virtual Graduate Q2

For this 3-day program, please find a private and quiet place where you will be uninterrupted, and where you can sit comfortably in front of your screen. It should be well lit, as we want to be able to see you and connect with you! We want to cultivate a safe and intimate container for you to do your work, even though we are not physically together.

We ask that confidentiality be a commitment agreed to by all participants, so it is important, if you are at home, that you make arrangements with the members of your household to honor your privacy, and not interrupt your class time, just as they would if you were on site.

Finally, we recognize that with a virtual environment it can be challenging to stay focused. To support you we ask you to:

  • Turn off all other electronics, and turn off notifications and alerts on the device you are using for the course
  • Keep your focus on the program, as if you were on site, and don’t attend to other things during the day, even while on breaks – much as you did at the Process. Put aside your responsibilities and dive into yourself. This is your time!
  • Use screen etiquette, i.e., no multi-tasking – don’t try catch up on emails or other work, play solitaire on your phone, eat meals (snacks are welcome), have outside conversations, etc.
  • If you need to stand, please do. And stretch as needed while still paying attention to the session.
  • Use the break times to take care of your needs, get beverages and snacks so you can be fully present to the teaching and experiences.
  • Scan through the faces regularly to remind yourself that although we are doing this work virtually, there is a community of living breathing humans participating in this program with you!
  • Day Two: A bowl to contain paper scraps
