“Hoffman is another place where truth resides, emerges deeper, and allows itself to flourish more in the world, in our world.” – Martin Rutte
International speaker, author, management consultant, and Hoffman Process grad Martin Rutte has lived a life rooted in knowing, on a deeper level, that we can achieve beyond what we believe is possible. In this powerful conversation with Sadie, Martin shares how his life of vision and purpose unfolded with each step taken. As Sadie highlights, the conversation circles the place where Spirit, truth, and an ‘already knowing‘ within each of us meet in something unnameable. This conversation guides us in how to embody and live this in the world.
Martin grew up in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Historically known as Canada’s industrial “Steeltown,” Martin shares that Hamilton had a conservative culture when he was young. At ten, he heard a message from within that set him on his life’s path: “You’re here to change the world.” He felt it was true, and didn’t know what it meant. No one around him spoke of vision or purpose, yet deep inside, he knew he would live a life of purpose.
Throughout his life, Martin met people who shared things he knew to be true within. These moments of truth guided him toward the life he envisioned, one step at a time. During his week at the Process, he realized that the truth emerges from within each of us. As we live this emergent truth from within, it flourishes into the world through the life path we take.
May this wise, generous, generative conversation inspire you to live a life beyond what you believe is possible.
Mid-conversation, Martin shares about “Project Heaven on Earth” and how it came to be. He asks Sadie the three questions he asks those he works with. As Sadie answers, you might consider your own answers. The invitation is to dive deeper into your vision of what heaven on earth can be.
