“It was holding my first grandchild, born just a few hours earlier, that the message of how every single individual comes into the world is just as pure, innocent, loving and lovable, really crystallized. The embracing love for this new-born that suddenly welled up in me gave way to a much deeper appreciation and love for myself, for in loving others, we love ourselves even more as love invariably brings out the best in everyone. In short, what I gained most from the Hoffman Process is remembering to appreciate the beauty in myself and how every person in this world began life in its purest and divine form. The miracle of birth just two weeks ago has ignited the Light from within me so I might shine on others, and exemplify Gandhi’s words, “Be the change you wish to see in the world.”
